IN THE GARDEN
“In the Garden” is a Christian hymn written by C. Austin Miles in 1912. The song became popular after being used in evangelist Billy Sunday’s religious campaigns. The lyrics were inspired by a Biblical passage in which Mary visited Jesus’ tomb to find that he had risen from the dead. This hymn continues to be popular in many congregations today. |
